The Inspired* by Music online charity auction is now closed. Thank you for your bids.

On Tuesday 8th December a selection of images taken by the award winning photographer Cambridge Jones, as seen in The Prince’s Trust book ‘Inspired* by Music’, will be displayed for the first time at 21 Home House, London.

This exhibition will also feature the launch of a limited edition, oversized version of the book from Shoehorn Publishing, accompanied by live performances by musicians including Nerina Pallot, Zeya, Max Tuohy and Hey Negrita.

"By sharing their thoughts and musical choices, the celebrities and young people featured in this book offer a unique insight into how one piece of music became their inspiration to survive, to excel, to remember, or to simply be happy.’ The sale of copies of this book will provide the vital funding needed to help young people turn their lives around and realise their own inspiration."

Following the launch night on the 8th December the collection of photographs will be toured around the Soho House venues both in the UK and internationally during the first quarter of 2010.

From the launch on December 8th until the tour is complete there will be the opportunity to bid for print edition 1/10 of each of the images featured in the ‘Inspired* by Music’ book. These limited edition portraits are extra special as they are printed directly onto the reverse of toughened glass in a unique, cutting edge printing technique, making them a truly stunning piece of art. This is a new process and the first time that it has been offered for sale.

I thought it had a real passion in it...
To me it was an attack on racism and prejudice of all kinds.
